The ability to search for, understand, analyze, evaluate and synthesize different forms of information is crucial to effective decision-making. We must ensure that Texans of all ages are equipped with the tools and skills to use information resources to think critically and creatively....
At this time, I encourage all Texans to recognize information literacy's role in our businesses, education, health care, defense, government, economic prosperity and quality of life."
